Business ordering

Stadesks supplies electric sit-stand desks to companies, practices, schools, and self-employed professionals in Belgium and the Netherlands. A business order follows the same products as the webshop, with an invoice made out to the company and agreements that we confirm via email. The delivery time remains 7 to 10 business days after confirmation, unless the quote specifies a later date due to quantity stock availability.

When to use this page

Use a business order if the invoice needs to be in the name of a company, a sole proprietorship, or an organization, if you want to include a VAT number, or if you need multiple desks at once. If you are buying as a private individual for home use, simply order via the product page. In that case, the right of withdrawal and the 30-day trial period apply, as stated on Returns.

How to request a quote

Email [email protected] with the subject line “Business quote”. Please include in your message:

• the official company name and legal form;
• the VAT number;
• the billing address and delivery address, if they are different;
• a contact person, an email address, and a phone number where the carrier can reach someone;
• the model, color, size, and quantity, with a link to the product page if you have already selected them;
• whether you want a straight desk, an L-shaped corner desk, a frame only, or a set with an office chair;
• the desired delivery week, if you have a date in mind.

We respond on business days between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. A quote will state the product, the unit price, VAT, shipping costs, delivery address, and delivery time. The quote is valid for the period stated on it. After that, prices and stock levels may change.

Prices and payment

Prices on the webshop include VAT. On a business quote, we can display the price excluding VAT, with the VAT rate shown separately, so that your accounting department can process the invoice correctly. We only apply a VAT reverse charge or an intra-community delivery if the invoice details and the law permit it. We do not assume this automatically for a standard Belgian or Dutch VAT number.

Payment is made prior to shipment, unless the quote explicitly states a different term. We do not standardly agree to a thirty-day payment term. If that term is not in the quote, we ship upon receipt of the amount.

We only confirm volume discounts in the quote. A quantity mentioned in the email does not automatically entitle you to a lower price.

Delivery to a business address

The delivery time is 7 to 10 business days after the confirmation of the quote and successful payment, or after the payment term stated in the quote. We deliver to the door or the entrance of the building. Please indicate in your quote request if there is a reception desk, a loading dock, or if delivery is to a specific floor. The driver is not obliged to carry a desk to an upper floor if this has not been agreed upon.

Provide a phone number for someone who will be present on the day of delivery. A missed appointment at a business site delays receipt in the same way as at a private address. The rules regarding tracking and damage upon receipt are available on Shipping.

No right of withdrawal for professional purchases

The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal and the commercial 30-day trial period apply to consumers. A purchase on invoice for your business is not covered by these. You cannot return a desk simply because the color looks different in the office, unless the quote contains a return agreement.

A defect remains a valid reason to contact us. We will repair, replace, or credit according to the quote, the product page, and the mandatory law applicable to that professional purchase. The practical reporting process, with photos and order number, follows the instructions on Warranty.

Multiple workstations

For a series of identical desks, we will confirm stock before you pay. If we cannot deliver part of the order within 7 to 10 business days, we will state this in the quote, including a date or the choice to receive the available portion first. We do not split an order without your agreement.

Mixed orders are possible: for example, ten straight desks of 100 × 60 cm and two corner desks. Each model retains the specifications from its own product page, including the weight capacity and whether it includes a dual motor, USB-C, or memory settings.

Assembly

Assembly at home or at the office is not included in the standard price. Your facility services or your own staff will assemble the desks using the manual. Report missing parts before the workstation is put into use, including a photo of the packing list. We will send the items that should have been in the box according to that list.

Invoice details

The invoice will display the company details you confirmed in the quote. Please correct any error in the VAT number before shipment. Re-invoicing after the fact is only possible if the original invoice has not yet been included in one of our closed VAT filings and the correction is legally permitted. Request any correction as soon as possible via the same email address.
